What’s it like to sleep in a sea of clouds? The Sky City is right by my bedside!

Totally overwhelmed!! It turns out the “Sky City” from fairy tales really exists—right there at the Yun Resort!!✨ This stay completely changed my entire perception of “staying at a hotel.” From the moment I stepped into the lobby, my phone’s photo album exploded📸, memory running low but I just couldn’t stop!!

Are you also:
❌ Smitten by photos but worried they’re “photo tricks,” and the place turns out remote and boring?
❌ Wanting to take beautiful photos but worried about crowds and fighting for the perfect spot?
❌ Overwhelmed by guides and unsure which activities are really worth it?

This “Yun Cliff Sky City Complete Guide” spills all my three days and two nights of hard-earned experiences and highlights! Helping you avoid pitfalls and find treasures, so you can easily be the coolest in your friend circle!👇

✈️How to get there?
📍Location: Jingning County, Lishui, Zhejiang 🚄 Highly recommend the high-speed train! After arriving at “Lishui Station” — take a taxi about 1 hour / or use the resort shuttle (remember to book in advance!). ⚠️ Honestly: the mountain roads are winding, so if you get car sick, bring medicine! But once you get off and see the cliff panorama shrouded in mist—it’s totally worth it!!

🏨Where to stay? Room type determines the experience!
✅Must choose: the “Between Cliffs” series! I stayed at “Feiya Ji,” where the balcony opens directly to the sea of clouds and cliffs, as if sleeping between heaven and earth~ No filter needed for photos, and when the morning mist drifts into the room, I literally screamed!

❌Avoid: I don’t really recommend the basic “Valley” rooms, the view difference is huge! Since you’re here, I suggest splurging on a high-altitude room!

📸How to shoot? Tips on spots & outfits
1️⃣The sky pool is a must! Best to go in the morning! Fewer people and great light~ Wear white or bright swimsuits, drone shots come out instantly! Pretend you’re in Bali 😂
2️⃣Cliff ladder: after 4 PM the light is softest~ Wear a long dress! The wind lifting the skirt for back shots is amazing!
3️⃣The cloud-end bookstore’s framed architecture is super stylish, quietly reading and snapping photos brings full artsy vibes~

🍜What to eat? No food desert here!
✔️Breakfast buffet is super rich! Jinyun sesame cakes, local noodles… carb lovers will be thrilled!
✔️For main meals, recommend the Chinese restaurant “Yunfu,” must-try “Stream Fish Hotpot” and She ethnic tofu stuffed dish! So delicious you’ll lick the plate~
❌The Western restaurant is average, not worth a special try.

💡Some thoughtful tips no one tells you
1️⃣Definitely bring a jacket! Big temperature difference on the mountain mornings and evenings, who knows how cold you’ll get shooting stars🌌
2️⃣Non-hotel guests can buy tickets to enter, but the experience is much worse! Recommend staying at least one night~
3️⃣Check the weather in advance! Clear days have a high chance of sea of clouds~ but if it rains lightly, don’t be down, the mist makes it even more like a fairyland!
4️⃣Recommended activities: the mine cave concert hall and immersive theater are must-sees! High-altitude autumn buds… not for those afraid of heights haha!

🎉【Summary & Rambling】———— Honestly, I was afraid of disappointment before going… but a week later, I’m still savoring the healing feeling of drinking coffee☕️ on the balcony at dawn, watching the clouds roll by~ This place isn’t for speed-checking like a special forces mission, it’s for emptying your mind and slowly feeling the perfect blend of nature and design.

If life’s wearing you down, why not “throw yourself” into the clouds and lie there for a couple of days~ You’ll thank me when you come back!!❤️
