I thought Xinjiang was beautiful until I went to Genie!

Xinjiang is already breathtaking, but the Genie South Line is even more stunning!

The Genie South Line is a winding path through the mountains, stretching about 250 km from Litang, known as the "Sky City," to Batang, the "Jiangnan of the Plateau." Along the way, you'll be immersed in a highland landscape of snow-capped mountains, lakes, gorges, grasslands, glacial relics, and lush forests.

🚌 If you don't drive or join a tour group, you can still enjoy the trip:

Day 1: Depart from Chengdu Xinnanmen Bus Station to Litang, visit Changqingchunke'er Temple, and experience a spiritual cleansing.

Day 2: Stroll through Litang County and savor its unique charm, then head to Genie Town to see the Genie Eye and stop at Xiazetong Village.

Day 3: Explore Xiazetong Village, experience its tranquility and beauty, then head to Zeba Village for new scenery.

Day 4: In Zeba Village, visit Yikeshuguan Scenic Spot, Hangda Camp, New Lenggu Temple, and Old Lenggu Temple. During the rainy season, there may be mudslides and landslides on the way to Batang, but the scenery in Zeba Village and Xiazetong Village is worth the trip.

🍂 Best time to visit: Summer and autumn. In summer, the grasslands at the foot of the snow-capped mountains are in full bloom, like a scene from a Hayao Miyazaki movie; in autumn, the mountains are covered in yellow leaves, creating a stunning landscape.

🚗 Road conditions: Some sections are under construction, but SUVs can handle them easily. In normal weather, regular cars can also pass. On the way from Litang to Zeba Village, you might even see some 1.2T yellow cars.

💡 Travel tips:

• The weather on the plateau is unpredictable, so bring a windbreaker, hiking boots, sunglasses, and sunscreen.

• Prepare glucose, cold medicine, and altitude sickness medication just in case.

• The temperature difference between day and night is significant, and many hotels and guesthouses don't have air conditioning. Book comfortable accommodations online in advance to ensure you're in top shape to enjoy the scenery.

• Many sections have poor signal, so download offline maps in advance to ensure a smooth trip.
