It's about 650 km from Chengdu. The suggested visiting time is 5–6 days.

☁Weather:
July and August are the rainy season in western Sichuan. The weather forecast is unreliable, and you can experience cloudy☁, rainy🌧, and sunny☀ weather all in one day.

🚗Transportation:
❗The village road to Genyen Town is under construction, and it is open during three time slots: morning, noon, and evening (1 hour each time slot). The road conditions from Litang are good.
❗Zebar Village can be reached from Xietong via Genyen Eye (dirt road with potholes) or by detouring from Genyen Town to Zhangna and Naiganduo Village (paved road).
❗The uphill section of the road over Zawala Pass has many fallen rocks, so drive carefully.
🏡Accommodation
The accommodation in Litang and Xinduqiao is quite good. During the acclimatization period, it is recommended to stay in a room with oxygen supply. If you want to stay in Zebar Village, book your room early, otherwise, you'll have to stay in Genyen Town or Xietong Village.
Beautiful Spots in Genyen
Genyen Eye
From an aerial view, it looks like a magical eye, facing a whole row of snow-capped mountains. You can ride a horse to the foot of the snow mountain. The road up the mountain is currently under construction. If you want to go to Xietong Village, pay attention to the opening hours!

Zebar Village
The biggest surprise of the trip!!! It's even more beautiful than Xietong Village, right at the foot of the snow mountain. Staying in a minsu, you can see the snow mountain just by looking up. Before, there were only local villagers' minsu with limited accommodation. Now, there are newly built ones that are very popular. The one we stayed in was fully booked even though it wasn't even fully decorated yet.

Zebar Secret Realm
At the end of Zebar Village, there is a short section of rough road. After passing it, you'll find a paradise with beautiful flowers, meadows, and streams! You can also climb a small hill for a panoramic view of the snow-capped mountains.

One Tree
One Tree is also in Zebar Village! Zebar Village is the essence! You can go there on horseback!

Lenggu Monastery
Deep in the Genyen snow-capped mountains, there is a secluded thousand-year-old monastery called Lenggu Monastery. You can drive directly to the New Lenggu Monastery. To go to the Old Lenggu Monastery, you need to take a local motorcycle.
Clothing Suggestions👔：
You can wear brightly colored clothes, such as red/orange/yellow/pink/white dresses, which will look good in photos. However, the weather in the plateau area changes a lot, so pay attention to keeping warm.

The entire Litang area is over 4,000 meters above sea level. Take precautions against altitude sickness in advance and prepare relevant medications💊.

The road conditions on the southern route of Genyen are challenging. Be sure to prepare in advance, including understanding the vehicle conditions and preparing necessary supplies.

The mobile phone signal is weak in some areas along the way📱, but you can enjoy the feeling of being away from the hustle and bustle and relaxing freely.

Fill up your gas tank or charge your car fully in Litang, as there are no gas stations along the way🔋.

Prepare some food, as there are few restaurants along the southern route of Genyen🥪.
