A small town deep in the Qinling Mountains hides breathtaking autumn scenery that will stun your eyes

🌈【Must-Do】1. Cross mountains and ridges to encounter a feast of red leaves🍁
⭐️ Taiziling
Highlight: Self-driving on mountain roads surrounded by red leaf scenery, like traveling through a painting, experiencing the ruggedness of the Qinling Mountains, with opportunities for aerial photography.
One mountain after another, overlapping layers of mountains. The gentle autumn breeze rises, white clouds drift leisurely. The mountains turn a rosy red, the road winds slowly with the car.
⭐️ Shizigou Pasture
Highlight: High mountain pasture, isolated from the world, primitive and simple, a perfect photo spot.
Under the autumn sun, the grassland is shrouded in golden silence. Beneath the withered branches and leaves lie lush meadows and a sea of scattered stones. Among the colorful forests covering the hills, cattle leisurely chew fragrant grass. Two old houses with broken walls tell the legend of Shizigou.
Primitive and simple, quiet and distant, a paradise untouched by worldly troubles.
⭐️ Lover’s Valley
Highlight: A golden autumn fairy tale world, 500 acres of larch forest, an ideal place for video shooting.
Surrounded by mountains and water, Lover’s Valley is perfect for couples to check in. At the park entrance, there are love locks symbolizing faithful love, a windmill path, a lover’s lock bridge, and a couple’s bench. In autumn, being here feels like stepping into a fairy tale—absolutely stunning!
⭐️ Zibai Mountain
Highlight: Giant “tiankeng” (sinkhole), resembling spaceship traces
Zibai Mountain’s unique sinkholes and the grassland on the summit are known as Asia’s premier tiankeng cluster, earning the nickname “Once you see Zibai, you won’t look at other grasslands.” Among the purple cypress and green pines, the sea of clouds cascades like a waterfall, majestic and spectacular. The natural huge pits in the scenic area look like shallow marks left by alien spaceships in a sci-fi movie—wonderful beyond words.
⭐️ Guanghua Mountain
Highlight: A prime spot to view colorful forests, perfect for shooting dusk sunsets and red leaf light and shadow effects.
🌈【Must-Do】2. Admire millennia-old trees and enjoy the most beautiful rural roads
⭐️ Suoluo Tree in Jiangkou Town
A Suoluo tree over 3,000 years old, about 12 meters tall with a 5.2-meter circumference, hollow trunk, and evergreen leaves. Locals revere it as a “sacred tree,” so you’ll see many red silk ribbons for blessings. Next to the Suoluo tree is a Suoluo Temple, which is not open to the public.
⭐️ Manshui Bridge
In Jiangkou Town, there is a long stone bridge with many holes, called Manshui Bridge by locals. It is named because in summer, heavy rains often cause the river to overflow the bridge surface. The mountain opposite Manshui Bridge is ablaze with red leaves, covering the hillsides in breathtaking beauty.
⭐️ Xujia Mountain Village (Nine-Headed Pine)
On the back mountain of the village stands a tall, robust Nine-Headed Pine, lush and flourishing, like a “mountain god” guarding the land. From here, you can overlook the entire panorama of Xujia Village.
⭐️ Four-Thousand-Year-Old Ginkgo
The ginkgo tree that amazed all of Hanzhong in autumn is located by the roadside in Shiyaoba Village, Yuhuangmiao Town. This ginkgo is 4,000 years old, ranking third nationwide and first in Northwest China.
⭐️ Most Beautiful Rural Road - Gaojiang Road (Shimenzi)
In Jiangxiying Village, Liuba County, Hanzhong, there is a 39-kilometer-long, 5-meter-wide road lined on both sides by straight cedar forests. In late autumn, the leaves turn yellow, creating a grand avenue leading to a fairy tale world, hence it is called “China’s Most Beautiful Mountain Village Road.”
🌈【Must-Do】3. Pilgrimage to Zhang Liang, one of the “Three Heroes of Early Han”
⭐️ Zhang Liang Temple
On the southern slope of Zibai Mountain Road stands an ancient Taoist temple. This is where Zhang Liang, the foremost of the “Three Heroes of Early Han,” retired for cultivation.
