London to-do List for First Timer

Visiting London is always a breeze, it seems like London offers a different atmosphere compared to other surrounding countries in Europe. Other than the currency that is different (Pound sterling ) from other European Countries that use Euro, the food, architecture is and the culture in the UK is also different.

If you are a first timer in the UK, let’s start from London first. The city is the center of the United Kingdom’s Monarch. You can visit and also see Buckingham Palace here.

London is popular with their red Telephone Box, which was previously used for people to call their family and friends. As now we can call everyone with the mobile phone in our hand, the Phone Booths is not being used anymore, but still there and you can use it as your instagram object!

As a fan of Julia Roberts or Hugh Grant or just loving Rom-Com in general, pay a visit to the Notting Hill area. Yes, the Rom-Com movie name was taken from this area in London, where they have iconic pastel-coloured houses. Also yes, you can find the “Notting Hill shop” that they used to shoot the movie too in this area. Sadly, you can’t see Julia Roberts or Hugh Grant there.

Don’t forget to also experienced to be in the famous London Red Double Decker bus! You can find the bus almost everywhere around London to commute. As Big Ben is finally done with their restoration, you can add this landmark building in your list, together with London Eye.
