Queen Mary’s Garden in Autumn

The roses in Queen Mary’s Garden may fade by October, but they leave behind a ghostly perfume. The bare stems and fallen petals look almost like a memory of summer, lingering gently into the colder season. I visited one misty afternoon, and the garden was nearly empty. The fountain murmured softly, the air heavy with rain. A single late bloom clung to the vine — pale, fragile, perfect. In that moment, it felt as though the garden was dreaming. Haunting, beautiful, and full of quiet grace. #hellohalloween
