The Most Beautiful Tourist Road Around Nankun Mountain - Luofu Mountain | Guangdong's "318"

In June this year, Huizhou Culture and Tourism Bureau officially launched the most beautiful tourist road around Nankun Mountain - Luofu Mountain, spanning 218 kilometers, and dubbed "Guangdong's 318" by netizens.
This road is interestingly designed, like a giant "8", connecting the two famous mountains, Nankun Mountain and Luofu Mountain.

Nankun Mountain is an "oasis on the Tropic of Cancer," with extremely high forest coverage and hot springs for bathing;
Luofu Mountain is known as the "First Mountain of Lingnan," with a strong Taoist cultural atmosphere and numerous historical sites on the mountain.

The road is shaded by green trees all the way, and the air is filled with the scent of grass and pine needles, truly a natural oxygen bar. Driving on this road during a holiday, chasing the sun in the morning and watching the sunset paint the sky red in the evening, makes you feel completely refreshed and healed.

Must-See Sights Along the Way

- Xiangang Reservoir: The lake surface is as calm as a mirror, perfect for photos. One side is closed off, but the walking trails inside are super comfortable for running.
- Sulao Village: An ancient and charming small village with simple folk customs. If you have enough time, you can stroll along the village's stone paths.
- Qixingdun Reservoir: The water is emerald green, surrounded by green mountains, a great spot for stunning photos.
- Millennium Ancient Banyan Tree: Over a thousand years old, with lush branches and leaves. Standing beneath it makes you feel incredibly small.
- Xutian Village: Pastoral scenery + Hakka dwellings, suitable for stopping for a cup of tea.
- Nankun Mountain Hot Springs: Soak in them when you're tired to ward off cold and relieve fatigue.
- Nankun Mountain Sanzaigu Forest Park: You can hike trails and go stream trekking, especially cool in summer.
- Nankun Mountain Rafting: A must-try in summer, exciting and fun.

Practical Tips

1. Transportation: The entire route is suitable for self-driving, or cycling (you need good stamina!). Some forest sections can be explored on foot or by stream trekking.
2. Xiangang Reservoir: One side is closed off, don't try to force your way through, but the walking trails inside are great for jogging or walking.
3. Easy Resupply: You'll encounter many small shops along the cycling route where you can buy water and snacks.
4. Navigation Tips: When driving, use key attractions as waypoints instead of setting the final destination all at once, allowing you to explore at a leisurely pace.
5. Ticket Information: Luofu Mountain is a 5A scenic area and requires an entrance ticket; Nankun Mountain is free to enter.
6. Photography Advice: The light is best in the early morning and evening, perfect for portraits and landscapes.
