1️⃣ Guanxi Walled Village
Guanxi Xinwei: The world’s largest square walled village, 282 rooms forming a “national” character maze, exquisite wood carvings and paintings, as if stepping into an ancient mysterious world.
Walled Village “Dream Team”: Eight walled villages including Xichangwei and Tianxinwei, each with unique styles, see Hakka architectural art all at once, broaden your children’s horizons.
Tip: Tickets 60 RMB (half price on holidays), enter before 4 PM to avoid rush before closing.
2️⃣ Selected Free Walled Villages (Authentic and Uncommercialized):
Yanyiwei: The tallest existing walled village (4 floors), decorated with red lanterns and couplets, chance to see villagers’ dragon dance, very festive atmosphere.
