Here’s the Longji Terraced Fields guide for a stunning golden view without the crowds!

I was already a fan of Longji Terraced Fields from photos, and now I finally got to check it out❗️In late October, the terraces turn a golden yellow, layered like a spilled palette of colors 🎨. The best part is fewer people and no traffic jams, perfectly avoiding the National Day holiday rush~

🔍 Key spots to check out:
📍 Ping’an Village Jiulong Wuhu Viewing Platform
The golden sea of clouds at sunrise is absolutely breathtaking! Arrive before 6 AM to catch the terraces in the gentle morning mist 🌄 (For navigation, select "Ping’an Village Terraced Fields Viewing Platform")

📍 Jinkeng Dazhai Xishan Shaole Viewing Platform
The terrace lines here are the most striking, and drone shots capture the panoramic view of terraces surrounding the village 📸 (20-minute walk from the parking lot)

📍 Guzhuang Village Terraces
These preserve the most traditional farming methods, where you can see farmers working in the fields, full of cultural charm 👨‍🌾

⏰ Best viewing period:
Late September to mid-October (golden yellow)
Late October to early November (before harvest)

🚗 Travel tips:
1️⃣ About 2.5 hours by car from Guilin city center; car rental or self-driving recommended (navigate to "Longji Terraced Fields Scenic Area Ticket Office")
2️⃣ The roads inside the scenic area are all mountain roads; new drivers should be cautious
3️⃣ Shuttle buses connect the villages (40 RMB per person one way)

💡 On-site experience:
✅ Big temperature difference between morning and evening! Around 10°C in early mornings at the end of October
✅ There are stalls renting ethnic costumes near the viewing platforms (20-30 RMB per set)
✅ Don’t miss the bamboo tube rice and glutinous rice wine in the villages
