Petra Ruins: Enter the World of Indiana Jones

I took a bus from Amman's 7th Circle to Petra!

With the sound effects from Indiana Jones playing in my head, I passed through the rocks and El Hazne appeared in front of me.
By the way, it takes less than an hour to get to El Hazne from the entrance, but it takes about two hours of trekking to get to the innermost temple, so I recommend going while you are still fit and able to walk.
Or you can pay for a donkey and ride up the mountain path!

Petra is said to have the highest entrance fee in the world, but it took about five hours to go from the entrance to the innermost temple and back. It's not like you can just see everything and then finish, so maybe it's good value for money?

By the way, there were a lot of Bedouin touts in front of El Hazne, who tried to persuade me to take photos from the top of the mountain.
It depends on the location, but climbing this mountain without a guide is quite dangerous, so negotiating to climb it is a nice memory (it usually costs money. Sometimes you can negotiate for free. I made friends and climbed for free and was treated to tea 🤝)
