What to explore in Lopburi 2025? Let's find out!

We took the 07:30 train from Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Station and explored on foot as most attractions are within a 1-kilometer radius, except for Khao Chin Lae and Phu Sap Lek, which require renting a vehicle.

1. Khmer-style Ancient Ruins – Located in the heart of Lopburi, this is one of the city's key landmarks. The monkeys that used to inhabit the area around the Prang have disappeared, making the place much cleaner.

2. (and Somdet Phra Narai National Museum) – This is the ancient palace of King Narai the Great, significant in history and now a museum showcasing various ancient artifacts.

3. Sunflower Fields – A vast sunflower field that blooms in winter. However, during our visit in October, the plants were still small. Nevertheless, there were food trucks, coffee vendors, and many people parked to enjoy the breeze.

4. (Panoramic Viewpoint) – A viewpoint above the Sap Lek Reservoir offering panoramic views of mountains and nature. The route may require some walking or driving up.
