On this trip to Luang Prabang, there are so many famous and delicious restaurants. There are Luang Prabang cafes, restaurants, local shops, and many other popular places! I've included the main ones in this post. 🥣🍽️🥢🍹🍗

☕️Cafe
- formula.b: They have a seasonal menu that changes regularly, and it's delicious and not too sweet.
- Gelato del Lao: They have a wide variety of gelato flavors to choose from. They're absolutely delicious.
- Joma: They have a huge variety of bakery items.
- Zurich: They have both savory and sweet dishes. When I went, I had pizza and pasta. The dough was delicious and the portions were generous.
- le Banneton: This shop is famous for their croissants and pastries. You have to try them! 🥐

🍜 Restaurant
- Tam Mak Hung (N. Tim): This Luang Prabang tam shop is very popular among Thais. I recommend going before noon. You won't have to wait in line.
- Tam Mak Hung Nang Saeng Duean: This local restaurant is located in Dara Market. It's a small shop with a limited number of tables, but the food is delicious and incredibly spicy.
- Pho & Khao Soi, opposite Wat Saensukharam: This restaurant is frequented by many locals. The food is cooked over a charcoal stove, giving it a wonderful aroma. We recommend coming early in the morning for a nice, hot bowl of pho.
- Pho & Khao Soi from the Morning Market: Delicious, large bowls, and incredibly fragrant.

📍Most of the restaurants we've included in this post are located close to each other in the old Luang Prabang area, within walking distance. Most are located on the same street, Sakkalin Road. Enjoy a relaxing stroll through the city and cafe hopping! 🥤

The prices are reasonable, the portions are large, and the food is delicious. It's a great value for the price.

This is what we ate at and took photos of. There are many other restaurants that were delicious, but I didn't take photos. 😅 I'll definitely have to go back! Luang Prabang's food is delicious! 🍲😻
