Few places have left me in such awe! Just two hours from Chengdu.

Compared to the crowded tourist spots, I prefer Luzhou, a city famous for its wine, because it hides a place that captivates the imagination.

In the depths of the forest, I discovered this enormous golden dragon, mysterious and magnificent!

Navigation 🧭: Jinlong Temple (about 12 km from Luzhou High-speed Railway Station to Jinlong Temple, about half an hour by car, or you can take bus 128 or 18). The temple is located 135 meters northeast of the Jiangnan Material Waste Trading Market on Lanxi Road, Jiangyang District, Luzhou City, Sichuan Province. Admission 🎫 is free, and there are a few free parking spaces inside.

Things to do 🚶:
1. This temple is relatively unknown, but it has a unique charm. To enter the temple, you need to climb a long staircase to catch a glimpse of the huge golden dragon head, shining in the sunlight, with two vivid carvings of flying dragons at your feet.
2. At the top of the temple, the dragon and the city become one, overlooking the distant cityscape. In addition to the majestic golden dragon, there are many carefully cultivated potted plants worth admiring.
3. Photography tips: Inside the temple, the best place to photograph the dragon head is at the left staircase entrance, using a telephoto lens. Some shots require a drone.
