Snow-covered Prison... Lüshun Prison.

Dalian, being a coastal city, has its peak season in summer and off-season in winter. However, I find Dalian much more charming in winter.
Especially after it snows, Dalian has a unique atmosphere.
The day before visiting Lüshun Prison, there was a heavy snowfall, and on the day of the visit, the prison yard was covered in white. The red brick prison, the snow, and the blue sky created a mysterious harmony.
Since many anti-Japanese activists suffered severe persecution here, the cold snow must have brought them even more painful cold.
It's somewhat ironic that the suffering of those people now appears as a beautiful sentiment to tourists.
