Macau Macau Tourism The World Heritage City Hall is so cool!

Macau Macau Tourism

There are many tourist attractions in Macau, but this time I went to the City Hall, so I'll share what it was like there.

📍 City Hall
📍 No. 163 Av. Almeida Ribeiro (San Ma Lo), Macau

The City Hall (Real Senado Building) was built in 1784 and is the first building owned by the Macau City Council. It still serves that role today.

The name "Real Senado" (Loyal Council) is said to come from the words of praise given to Macau by King Dom John IV of Portugal in 1654: "Macau, the city of God's name, has no other loyalty!"

The white exterior walls are a beautiful color,

and once inside there is a courtyard

It's a must-see tourist spot
