Place de la Vieja in Macau: Finding tranquility and historical traces in Portuguese style

This was my wonderful encounter with tranquility and historical imprints in Macau.

As soon as we arrived at the front of A-Po-Jing,
What comes into view is a picture with soft colors and full of Portuguese style.
The light yellow exterior of the building looks particularly warm in the sun.
With dark green wooden doors and windows,
It exudes a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere.
The circular stone square in the center of the square.
Although it is not large, it is the visual focus of the surrounding buildings.

Yapojing, as the name suggests, is related to an ancient well.
Although there is no trace of the well now,
However, from the surrounding environment and historical records,
You can still feel the traces of this place being an important water source in the past.
It is said that in the past, residents mostly relied on this well for water.
It was also one of the main sources of water supply for Macau.
The word "A-po" adds a touch of intimacy and a sense of time.
It's like a kind old woman, quietly guarding this land.

Strolling around the square,
Your eyes will easily be attracted by the well-preserved Portuguese buildings.
Most of these buildings are two or three stories high and have a simple and plain appearance.
However, the architectural features of the Portuguese colonial period are revealed in the details.
Cast iron balcony railings, brightly painted windows,
