|Zhuhai Hilton with Views of Macau's Night Skyline. Located just a 15-minute walk from the Wanzai Port (note: not the tourist ferry terminal).
I contacted the hotel in advance to request a room with good views for photography 📸
Their prompt online response and excellent service attitude were big pluses.
I booked a Macau Sea View Room,
and the hotel upgraded me to an Executive Macau Sea View Room with Gold Card benefits, including access to the executive lounge.
Unfortunately, the lounge had limited dining options,
and the food quality that day wasn't great.
Upon entering the room, I could see the Macau Tower and the bridge 🌉
Too bad the weather wasn’t ideal—
the photos came out gray and hazy, requiring heavy editing later.
By morning, the view was completely obscured by fog, with the Macau Tower entirely hidden.
The room felt a bit small,
though I’m not sure if the full-length sofa by the window contributed to that illusion.
The bathroom had a bathtub 🛏
but no separate shower enclosure—
a design choice I’ve never been fond of.
I prefer separated showers 🚿
That said, I loved the stone flooring in the bathroom.
It felt great underfoot—does anyone know what it’s called?
🥟 Breakfast was decent.
The freshly made rice noodles were delicious,
and the plain congee had a nice texture 🍚
The weekend crowd meant no window seats were available,
so I was seated in a nearby private room.
With two families with kids nearby,
the small space (only four groups total)
ended up feeling quite noisy.
