Transportation Guide from Macau to Long Chao Kok Coastal Trail

Driving or taking a taxi is the most convenient option. Starting from Macau Peninsula, you can reach Coloane via the Hengqin Bridge or Cotai. The drive takes approximately 30-40 minutes, and you can park your car near the Hac Sa Beach parking lot before walking to the entrance of the Long Chao Kok Coastal Trail. Taxi fare is around MOP 100-150; simply inform the driver to head to "Long Chao Kok Coastal Trail."

Public transportation requires transfers. From Macau Peninsula, take buses such as AP1X or 25X to Coloane Town, then transfer to bus routes 15 or 21A to the "Hac Sa Beach" stop. After alighting, walk along the beach for about 15 minutes to reach the trail entrance. Be mindful of bus schedules, as some routes have longer intervals (approximately 30 minutes per bus).

Walking exploration is suitable for those with good physical stamina. Starting from St. Francis Xavier Church in Coloane, follow the coastal path towards Hac Sa Beach. Along the way, you can pass by attractions like Cheoc Van Horse Riding School and Coloane Pier. The total distance is about 5 kilometers and takes approximately 1.5 hours. It is recommended to allocate enough time to arrive before sunset.

Upon arrival, walk along the wooden boardwalk and rocky paths of the coastal trail. Remember to bring water, mosquito repellent, wear non-slip shoes, and stay safe. During sunset, the rugged rocks and vibrant evening glow create a stunning scene, while the ocean at blue hour adds a touch of mystery, making it an ideal spot for capturing breathtaking landscape photos.
