Estrada Nova de Mong Há is a great location for shooting the Grand Lisboa Palace. Here are some related photography tips:
• Best shooting time: From 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, there is oblique light, ideal for capturing the light and shadow effects of the old street and the Grand Lisboa Palace. From 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM is the blue hour, when the sky shows a unique blue tone that complements the lights of the Grand Lisboa Palace, creating a full cyberpunk atmosphere.
• Shooting location: You can set your navigation to "Meijia Building" or "Jinyue Vietnamese Beef Noodle Estrada Nova de Mong Há Branch," which is the same spot featured in National Geographic. Standing at the intersection of Estrada Nova de Mong Há and Estrada da Mong Há Incline, use the street lines to create a perspective effect, capturing a unique frame of the old street and the Grand Lisboa Palace together. Additionally, walking along the street towards the Emperor Hotel also offers good shooting angles. It is recommended to stand on the right side of the road or use a telephoto lens to achieve a strong perspective effect.
• Photography tips: It is recommended to use lenses with focal lengths of 24-70mm or 70-200mm. A telephoto lens can compress the space between the Grand Lisboa Palace and the old street, highlighting the contrast. Pay attention to safety while shooting, as there is motorcycle traffic on the street. Also, due to the narrow spacing between buildings, uneven lighting may occur, so carrying a fill light stick is advisable.
• Transportation: You can take bus routes 1A or 25 to the "Tap Seac Sports Complex" stop, where Estrada Nova de Mong Há is immediately visible upon getting off. Alternatively, take bus 25B to the Shui Keng Mei stop and then walk to the location.
