Macau

We return to Macau again and again. It's a very cozy place with a rich history. We're always enchanted by the remains of the Portuguese colony; it's a long trail... narrow streets paved with stones, tiles, and Portuguese ceramics everywhere. Macau is unique, as evidenced by the fact that its historic center was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2005. Only in Macau can you find southern European-style mansions and Chinese pagodas, Catholic churches adjacent to Buddhist and Taoist temples, two-tone marine mosaics in the squares, so typical of the Portuguese Riviera, and typical Mediterranean narrow streets from which the aromas of Chinese dishes waft. #Macau #澳门 #St. Anthony Parish #Cathedral Parish #Ruins of St. Paul #Edificio Wai Cin
