The Wuhou Temple at Wolonggang, also known as " Zhuge Lu " , is located on Wolonggang in the west of Nanyang City, Henan Province. It is the former site of Zhuge Liang, a famous politician and military strategist in the Three Kingdoms period , who " tilled the land in Nanyang " and a place where Zhuge Liang has been worshipped throughout the ages . It is also the place where Emperor Zhaolie of the Han Dynasty, Liu Bei, visited him three times. The famous " Three Visits to the Thatched Cottage " and " The Thatched Cottage Countermeasures " in history took place here.
The Wuhou Shrine integrates the styles of garden architecture, temple architecture and local dwellings. Its architectural layout is distributed on the stepped central axis, which is quite rhythmic and rhythmic. The stone archway, Immortal Bridge, Mountain Gate, Great Worship Hall, Thatched Cottage and Ningyuan Tower are located on the central axis in sequence, forming a two-entry quadrangle with the stele corridor, ancient cypress pavilion, wild cloud temple, old dragon cave, moon-banning platform and Gonggeng Pavilion on both sides. Parallel to this are the Sangu Shrine in the north and the Wolong Academy in the south.
