Weekend Getaway to Macau: Efficient and Fun!

A weekend trip to Macau can actually be very efficient! From the Hong Kong and Macau Ferry Terminal to Taipa, you will arrive at the Venetian in the morning to reveal the popular attractions and local delicacies in Cotai one by one.

The highlights of the trip are complete: one-stop European-style hotel, check-in Venice Canal + LV flagship store, sweep the streets of Guan Ye Street classic Portuguese desserts, and finally Star Hao Plaza Pocket Hot Pot to eat seafood, beef, skewers with Thai desserts, feeling super satisfied. The important thing is that the whole journey is walking + fortune car, the movement is tight, no waste of holidays!

🛳️ Itinerary inventory (super practical tips throughout the process)
1. The Venetian Macau
Address: Notre Dame Bay Avenue, Wan Tak, Macau, Golden Light Avenue, Cotai
Get off the boat and take a shuttle bus or fortune bus (free) to the Venetian, the hotel itself is enough to take pictures: splendid European-style lobby, high-hanging murals, mall skylight imitating the Venice canal, recommend LV flagship door night view, giant arch modern sense, must-see! The room is super large (70 square meters), which is very convenient for families and multiple people to travel. The hotel has several restaurants, shopping centers and children's playgrounds, making it comfortable and not boring. But note that the facilities are a bit old, soundproofing is ordinary, if you mind can book a high floor view room, less crowds.

2. Guan Ye Street Local Street Sweeping Tour
Address: 21 Guan Ye Street, Macau, open all day
Venetian 10 minutes walk to Guanye Street, start an authentic food guide now! Egg tarts and waffles (Ze Hin Kee), milk green specialty drink (Guan Ye's house), ice drip coffee (Lamga), Se Kee coffee can all be picked up in one street! Look carefully for Seki coffee on the streets:
Address: G/F, No. 1, Front Land, Fire Station, Old Town, Taipa
The main dishes are salted beef thick egg toast, smooth hot milk tea, and pork chop buns are super local style; recommended to sit by the window, the crowd is busy but the table turns quickly.

3. Star Hao Plaza. Dou Dou Hot Pot
After a snack at Star Hao Plaza, I recommend "Pocket Hot Pot", which attracts a group of beef devils/hot pot lovers with its high-quality seafood, crispy beef tongue, lamb, beef, Thai food and skewered desserts. The shop is spacious, it is recommended to book in advance, the dinner is very crowded. Google Maps location (Star Hao Plaza), very easy to find.
