👉The prime location of Gran Via Avenue, the subway station is nearby, and you can walk to major attractions such as the Royal Palace, Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol. It is super convenient to eat, drink and have fun!

When I first arrived at the hotel, I was greeted by a modern decoration style. 😎 The front desk reception was very welcoming and even though we arrived a little early, they quickly arranged a room for us. Check-in was quick and the attitude was very friendly.

We live on the 10th floor and have a balcony, so we can enjoy the warm sunshine every morning and evening. The room is medium in size, has a lot of storage space, and has free WiFi. The bathroom was also very spacious and the huge shower was very refreshing. The overall facilities are very modern. The only small regret is that there are no English TV channels at night, but it doesn't matter!

🍽Breakfast is served on the fourth floor. There are many choices. Freshly brewed coffee and customized omelets are my favorites. The hotel's swimming pool is on the 20th floor. Although it is not big, it is enough to enjoy. You can also use sunbeds. The sky bar on the 27th floor has a great view. Although the service is a bit slow, it definitely does not affect the beautiful night view of Madrid.

There are so many places to eat around the hotel! We recommend Poncelet Cheese Bar’s seafood cuttlefish noodles, A’Barra’s Italian carpaccio and Coque’s smoked roasted suckling pig, which are all exciting. There are also many cute Brunch cafes that fully meet all my expectations for food. The surrounding shopping streets and small shops are also very interesting, so there is no need to worry about boredom!

To sum up, the RIU City Hotel has an excellent location, complete modern facilities, and a beautiful view from the top-floor bar. Although the service is sometimes a little flawed, the overall accommodation experience is still great. If you are coming to Madrid, you might as well consider this hotel, you will definitely not be disappointed!
