One day in Madrid for museum lover

Madrid is definitely one of my favorite cities in Europe — the overall vibe is amazing, and it’s full of museums. If you enjoy exhibitions, here’s how you can spend a whole day exploring them ⬇️
🖼️ Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum
This museum houses a wide range of masterpieces from various artists. There was even a special Picasso exhibition before. The collection is extensive, and the curation is very thoughtful.
🖼️ Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía
You’ll need to book a guided tour in advance. They’re available daily during working hours, and joining a professional tour is a time-efficient and insightful way to explore the museum. Be sure to see Guernica — it's a must!
🖼️ Prado Museum
Photography is limited here, but the museum houses an enormous collection and is part of Madrid’s famous “Golden Triangle” of art. Definitely worth a visit.
Normally, visiting these three museums and joining the tours would cost around €92 just in tickets — getting a Madrid Pass can save you money!
