Thousands of miles away, mountains and wilderness

Walking at polar altitudes is itself a journey back in time. The surrounding mountains and the glaciers beneath your feet force you to feel and think at different speeds. Time, emotions and experiences flow slowly through tens of thousands of years of ice. And humans have always been fascinated by enormous power and eternal time.

Between 21 and 24, I traveled to Tibet six times, and here are the most unique places along the routes in various regions of Tibet:

Western Sichuan: Genyen Sacred Mountain, Jinchuan Lover's Sea, Derge Yulong Lacuo, Lianbaoyezhe

Northern Yunnan: Dukezong Ancient Town, Meili Snow Mountain

Eastern and Southeastern Tibet: Mount Nanga Parbat, Mount Thanianta, and Mount Sap

Tibet Ali Grand Loop: Shishapangma, Gang Rinpoche, Manasarovar
