Alcazaba of Málaga
Address – Calle Alcazabilla, 2, 29015 Málaga, Spain
Highlights – Stepping into the Alcazaba feels like entering a storybook. Perched above the city, this Moorish fortress is a maze of ramparts, gardens, and fountains. The views over Málaga’s coastline are stunning, especially at sunset when the city below is bathed in warm golden light. You can wander the winding walkways, explore the ancient towers, and lose yourself in the history of the place. It’s more serene than the crowded Alhambra, and just as awe-inspiring.

Playa de la Malagueta
Address – Malaga City Centre, 29016 Málaga, Spain
Highlights – The urban beach of Málaga, perfect for a sunny afternoon dip. It’s busy but not overwhelming, with golden sands and clear Mediterranean waters. If you’re into seafood, the chiringuitos (beachfront restaurants) serve some of the freshest fish around. We spent a few hours here, lounging and enjoying a cold drink, with the lively buzz of beachgoers and a distant view of the towering Gibralfaro Castle.

Highlights – If you’re a fan of Picasso, this is a must-visit. The museum is housed in an elegant 16th-century palace and showcases over 200 pieces by the artist, many of them from his formative years. The collection is not overwhelming, and the way the pieces are displayed gives you a deeper sense of Picasso’s evolution.
