Laid-back Malang

The city has some picturesque old colonial buildings and a relaxing town square park in the middle of the city, containing some funky trees. It is a great place to relax in a laid-back city.
There are plenty of options to try local cuisine and several shopping malls.
The city is also a pickup point for visiting Mount Bromo.
