New York in the summer is a life-changing destination💖

New York Independent Travel Day 2

📍Spots to Visit - #NewYorkTravelItineraryRecommendations!

- Union Square Greenmarket #UnionSquare #Greenmarket
The Union Square Greenmarket sells all sorts of things, just like a local flea market. If you want to experience the local atmosphere, this is a great place to go. 😉

- Flatiron District #FlatironDistrict
On the way to Shake Shack, I passed by the #FlatironDistrict! Even though it was morning, it was bustling with people.
The #FlatironBuilding was under construction at the time, so its exterior was covered in rebar, but the surrounding area was so beautiful, making it one of my personal favorite neighborhoods :)
I discovered #FishsEddy, a #select shop in this area that sells tableware. The interior was quite spacious and had a wide selection.

- Shake Shack Madison Square Park #ShakeShackOriginal
#ShakeShackOriginal is just located in a corner of the park😝 They set up tables outside and serve takeout. ㅎㅎ
I think I tried the #Shroomburger and the #ShackBurger here? The beef one was delicious, but the Shroomburger is my favorite!! It was so eye-openingly delicious. ㅋㅋㅋㅎㅎ
I'm not a big fan of burgers, but I highly recommend the Shake ShackOriginal!! This is #NewYorkfood😋

They say even the founder of Shake Shack comes by unannounced, which helps maintain the quality of the food. ㅎㅎ

- Strand Book Store #StrandBookstore
The Strand Bookstore is a long-standing bookstore in New York City, and is famous among Koreans for its extensive selection of merchandise. :)

Blind date with a book? That's a really innovative idea. By covering the books like that and putting new book covers by genre, like romance and horror, wouldn't it be possible for even unpopular books to sell well?👍🏻

They also have a pretty wide selection of eco-bags and pouches! I bought a cute #LittlePrince pin as a #souvenir, hehe. This has absolutely nothing to do with the bookstore, though. 😝

- Greenwich Village #GreenwichVillage #WestVillage
Greenwich Village feels like Seongsu-dong with a New York vibe, doesn't it? Every street is lined with beautiful, unique shops :)

You'll often see cute shops using flags or neon signs instead of signs. ㅎㅎ
Overseas select shops carry items that reflect the unique characteristics of each region, so you can often find quite unique items and gain insight into the trends of that country. :)

- New York University #NYU #NewYorkUniversity
Actually, NYU didn't have the campus feel I imagined, with the buildings scattered all over the place. 😅 On the way to NYU, #WashingtonSquarePark was beautiful. ㅎㅎ

- Soho #Soho
It feels different from Soho in the UK. ㅎㅎㅎ The streets are wider and more modern. However, there weren't as many cute shops as I expected, and it's lined with large buildings. Still, I think it's worth a visit at least once. :)
