Peace Hotel Shanghai

Peace Hotel Shanghai was a wonderful hotel where you could truly feel the history of Shanghai. Located in the Bund area, the views of Shanghai's cityscape and the Huangpu River from the hotel were truly spectacular. Especially at night, the glittering view of the Bund from the room felt like a scene from a movie.

This hotel, famous as the "Peace Hotel," opened in 1929 and boasts gorgeous Art Deco architecture, evoking the atmosphere of old Shanghai. Upon entering the lobby, the sparkling chandeliers evoked a sense of nostalgia, yet I was overwhelmed by the sophisticated design. The room was modern and comfortable, yet also had a classic touch, making it extremely comfortable.

The staff were also wonderful and attentive. The restaurant and bar also had a great atmosphere, and the cocktails at "Peace Bar" in particular were truly quintessentially Shanghai.
