The beauty of solo traveling

2022 has been an amazing year for me. It all started when my friends backedout with our plans and I decided to travel alone for the first time. I didn't have much expectations, no plans, no itineraries, and all. I just wanted to fly and go with the flow and that was when I met these amazing people from other side of the world who changed the way I think about traveling and motivated me to never be scared to be alone.
What was supposed to be a 2-day weekend trip turned into a 2-week vacation in different islands with loads of food trips, sunsets, roadtrips, transfers, getting lost in the road, adventures and laughters. The best part was learning each other's culture through people. My friends were from France, Spain, and Canada and I am from the Philippines. Each of us has different stories to tell, different experience and but we share same passion in traveling. I would say that it has been one of the best trips of my life - so spontaneaous, no expectation, no plans, just going with the flow, no pressure but everything has been perfect.
And the hardest part of the adventure was when we bid goodbye and all we have left is the friendship we built and the precious memories of our little adventures.

As I welcome 2023, I more courageous to pack my things and fly somewhere unfamiliar and experience the freedom of solo traveling and meeting new people along the way. Who knows, our paths will cross again somewhere.
