Historical background and cultural characteristics
Lari Temple is the dojo of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva. The temple has major buildings such as the Yinming Academy, the Indian Eighty Great Accomplishments Hall, and three Sutra Halls. It has a reasonable layout and unique ethnic characteristics. There are more than 30 prayer wheels of various sizes, 111 pagodas, 4 stone scripture walls and prayer flags covering an area of about 80 acres in the temple, showing a strong religious atmosphere and rich cultural heritage.
