Mount Iino (Sanuki Fuji), located in Marugame City, Kagawa Prefecture, is a popular mountain nicknamed "Sanuki Fuji" for its beautiful conical shape. ⛰️
At 422 meters above sea level, it's easy to climb, with hiking trails that even beginners can enjoy. From the summit, you can enjoy panoramic views of the Sanuki Plain and the Seto Inland Sea, and simply taking a deep breath in nature feels like resetting your mind. 🌿✨
I visited in the morning. Listening to the birdsong as you slowly ascended the mountain was truly a moment of healing.
The rice balls I ate at the summit were exceptional, and it was one of my most memorable moments of the trip. 🍙
The natural scenery changes with the seasons, from cherry blossoms in spring to autumn leaves, making this a place you'll want to return to again and again.
It's wonderful for couples to chat and enjoy nature, and it's also perfect for solo travelers to take time to reflect.
