I went to the Matsuda Cherry Blossom Festival near Tokyo to see the Kawazu cherry blossoms blooming in winter. The color was so pretty because it was a perfect pink… Romantic cherry blossom road that you can see by bus… 💗

Location: Nishihirahata Park
Schedule: 2024.2. 3~3. 3
Opening hours: 9:00 a.m. ~ 5:00 p.m.

Until 9:00 p.m. during light-up

Open all year round during the festival
Fare: Adults 300 yen, children 100 yen

🚊How to get there from Tokyo (approximately 1 hour 50 minutes)
- Take the Odakyu Line train from Shinjuku Station and get off at Shin-Matsuda Station
- Tokyo Nijubashi Station - Yoyogi-Uehara Station - Transfer - Take the Odakyu Line and get off at Shin-Matsuda Station
- Get off at Shin-Matsuda Station or Matsuda Station and take the shuttle bus
- If you are coming from Shizuoka, go from Gotemba Station to Matsuda Station.

🚐Take the shuttle bus (5 minutes)
180 yen when boarding from JR Matsuda Station

200 yen when boarding at the temporary parking lot

You can walk, but the slope is steep, so I recommend walking down while looking around when getting off the bus!

There is no place to store your luggage, so bring minimal luggage

Mazda is famous for its tangerines, so buy some to eat
