Let me tell you, it's true. Anyone who likes nature in Japan
should visit Kamikochi at least once before they die. The view in each season
is very beautiful. It can be called heaven on earth. 🏞️

✴️ Can I drive into Kamikochi?
Kamikochi is a strict nature reserve.
Private cars are not allowed to drive into
the area. We must use only authorized buses or taxis. Therefore, we should plan our
travel well in advance!
✴️ Can I visit Kamikochi all year round?
Kamikochi is open from late April
to mid-November. The most popular period
is spring and autumn. In the snow, the park is closed. But if you want to come, you may
have to come with a tour or hire your own guide.
✴️ Can beginners go hiking in Kamikochi?
Kamikochi has many levels of hiking trails, from easy trails suitable for families to challenging trails for experienced hikers.
Don't forget to bring comfortable hiking shoes and clothes,
and bring water and snacks.
✴️ If you're short on time, what are the highlights you can't miss?
Kappa Bridge, a popular photo spot where you can see
the stunning view of Mt. Hotaka, as well as
the Azusa River, whose water is so clear that you can see the ground below. There are restaurants and

Kamikochi has accommodation options ranging from luxury hotels to
campsites, with prices ranging from
ten thousand yen to 60,000 yen. If you want to
stay on a budget, you can choose to camp at
Konashi-daira Campsite.
