Matsuyama, a city like a hidden treasure

As the travel ban was lifted, people were everywhere, so I wanted to travel to a quieter, lesser-known place. Then I found out about Matsuyama, Japan. It was a place with natural hot springs, free airport shuttles/entrance fees, and it was quiet and the people were all friendly. Since sea bream was a specialty, I was able to eat rock bream very cheaply, and I was able to see Matsuyama Castle on a unique one-person lift. Dogo Onsen, the setting for Spirited Away, and seeing the Botchan Train Mausoleum, a famous attraction in this area, were all so great.
