The Temptation of Matsuyama

I went from Tokyo to Matsuyama, the prefectural capital of Ehime Prefecture.

It was just under an hour by plane to Matsuyama, so if I slept I could get there in no time.

After arriving at the airport and taking a bus directly to Dogo Onsen, I was greeted by the steam locomotive "Botchan Train". There was also a stylish Starbucks inside the Iyotetsu tram's Dogo Onsen station, which blended in perfectly with Dogo Onsen. I stayed there for a night, and the next day I went to Matsuyama Castle and the Botchan Museum inside a Starbucks near Matsuyama City Station. The JR Matsuyama Station building was completed in October last year and was very beautiful, making it a fun trip to Matsuyama.
