🇯🇵 [Ehime Prefecture] Takaya Hachiman Shrine in Matsuyama City ⛩️!
The son of Kamiyaimimi no Mikoto, the second son of Emperor Jimmu (reigned 660 BC-585 BC), is said to be Takeiwatatsu no Mikoto (^ ^)
It is said that Takeiwatatsu no Mikoto's descendants came to Iyo, enshrined Takeiwatatsu no Mikoto, and called the shrine Aso-gu (^^) Also, according to the shrine records, Takeiwatatsu no Mikoto's third son Takeiwako no Mikoto defeated the bandits of Iyo, lived in Iyo (Iwakoyama), and became the distant ancestor of the Kumebe Yamabe Kodate clan.
During the reign of Emperor Suzaku (reigned 930-947), Kusudo Nechiyo deeply revered Aso-gu, prayed for the defeat of Fujiwara no Sumitomo, and renamed it Aso-gu Shrine Asayama-gu.
