Matsuyama's Kappo Tsujii

A restaurant quietly nestled in a serene location away from the bustling city center.
In its calm atmosphere, the owner carefully selects and sources high-quality ingredients.

While the hot springs were the main attraction, these serendipitous encounters are what make traveling enjoyable.
For those who want to experience authentic Japanese cuisine without flashy presentations, featuring fish from Shikoku and seasonal ingredients, this is the place to visit.
My annual trip to Dogo Onsen has become a tradition, and the template for my visits is finally taking shape.
Even in a city I visit once a year, there are always new discoveries to be made each time.
Access, cityscape, hot springs, food, people—everything is wonderful.
I will definitely visit again next year, but the anticipation is so great that I’m considering a mini-trip before then.
