The Seven Mosques, also known as the Saba Masjid, are a complex of small, historic Mosques located on the western side of the Sala Mountain in the Blessed city of Medina. Saba means seven, and they were named so because the group originally considered seven mosques. However, as of today, there are six mosques that are part of the complex. These mosques are near a part of the trench, which the Muslims dug during the Battle of the Trench during the lifetime of the Prophet(Peace and Blessings Be Upon Him) time to defend the city of Medina from the Quraysh and thus hold a very important historic significance in Islam. Overall, the Seven Mosques are an important destination for all visitors to Medina, to communicate the bravery of the Muslims in defining their religion and country with patience and clever planning.
