🚗 Itinerary:
Day 1: Explore Kuala Lumpur city
📍 Twin Towers check-in (recommended to go in the evening, the night view is stunning)
📍 Central Market for souvenirs (remember to bargain!)
📍 Petaling Street for food (recommend Liyang Tea House’s iced coffee)

Day 2: Half-day tour in Putrajaya
📍 Pink Mosque (women must wear robes to enter)
📍 Putrajaya Square (a great place for architectural photos)

Day 3: Melaka time travel tour
📍 Dutch Red House (perfect for wedding photos)
📍 Jonker Street (night market from Wednesday to Saturday, very lively)
📍 Floating Mosque (absolutely beautiful at sunset)

Day 4: Fly to Semporna
⚠️ Reminder: Book airport pickup in advance, it’s hard to get a Grab in Tawau

Day 5: First day of island hopping
📍 Tun Sakaran Marine Park (wear sneakers for hiking)
📍 Mantabuan Island (you can see sea turtles while snorkeling)

Day 6: Mataking three-island tour
📍 Mataking Island (has a distinct sandbar)
📍 Timbun Mata (the beach is dazzlingly white)
📍 Bohey Dulang Island (high chance to encounter starfish)

Day 7: Last-minute rush before departure
Early morning you can go to the seafood market to bargain for lobsters (super cheap with on-site cooking)

🍜 Must-try foods:
Grilled chicken wings at Jalan Alor (look for Wong Ah Wah)
Xin Feng Bak Kut Teh (strong herbal flavor)
Semporna Fat Mom Seafood (the creamy tiger prawns are insanely good)

💡 My hard-earned tips:
1. Don’t exchange money at the airport! The city rates are much better
2. Taking a ride-share is half the price of a taxi
3. Book Semporna resorts at least 2 months in advance
4. Don’t fly within 18 hours after diving
5. When buying durian, remember to ask if you can bring it on public transport
