Visit the State Library of Victoria, one of the most beautiful libraries in the world 📖📕📚

The State Library of Victoria is located in Melbourne city center.

Established in 1854, it is Australia's oldest library.
It houses The Dome, an octagonal reading room 36 meters high.
It has six floors, and you can look down from Level 6, so be sure to go up and take a look. ✨

Follow the facility's signs to find The Dome. It's so vast, it's easy to get lost, but it feels like a treasure hunt, and arriving at your destination is an emotional experience. 🤩

The reading room has power outlets, so many people were studying and working there.
The desks had steps so people could read books, so I used to work on my computer at a higher level.

However, since it's an old building, signal reception is poor, so it's not ideal for online research.
If you're a nomadic worker or want to do research while enjoying the atmosphere of The Dome, please use other spaces.

There's also a giant chess set at the library entrance,
where you can play chess outdoors!
