A remote island tour to eat octopus dishes on Himakajima

We took a ferry to Himakajima Nishi Port and had a set meal at Minshuku Matsuzuru. Octopus is famous here, so we were very satisfied with the octopus-filled dishes. After that, we walked around the island slowly. There were octopus drying on the eaves of the houses, and there was a Benzaiten statue. I felt like an islander for a while, and I let myself go with the flow of time and stared at the sea, which was very relaxing. There are kickboards and bicycles available to rent in front of Nishi Port, so you can rent them and go to the other side and go around Himakajima. Minshuku Matsuzuru
