When taking the bus to Itoshima, make sure to arrive early at Hakata Terminal to queue up. Otherwise, you might end up sitting in the aisle seat or being separated from your travel companions. Once you arrive, you can explore the area or grab a meal first to avoid the frustration of dealing with crowds taking photos.
The food at Full Full is excellent, and the mentaiko French bread is a must-try. If you dine in, the staff will heat it up for you, making it even tastier. The Tenjin branch tends to be less crowded, so don't waste time queuing at Hakata.
Kyushu offers more experience-based attractions rather than shopping opportunities. Most stores in Fukuoka close at 8 PM, so make sure to plan your shopping time wisely. The selection isn't very comprehensive, and popular items often sell out quickly. It's recommended to avoid the rainy season and plan more outdoor activities. As for shopping, save it for your next trip to Osaka or Tokyo!
