Kurokawa Onsen

Kurokawa Onsen is a mountain hot spring village located at the border of Kumamoto Prefecture and Oita Prefecture. There are about 30 hot spring hotels in the hot spring village, and retro hotels with black as the main color are neatly lined up. Each hotel has its own unique open-air bath.

Kurokawa Onsen's most famous "entry shape". With this bathing pass, you can choose up to three open-air baths at any of Kurokawa Onsen's 28 ryokan hotels for a hot spring tour. I chose two hot springs to soak in, and also took away two glass bottles of soda as souvenirs. It was a really rewarding experience. Recommended Recommended 👍
