Fall Foliage at Katsuoji Temple, Osaka

🍂 Around mid-December, the leaves turn vibrant shades of orange and deep red, perfectly complementing the rows of Daruma dolls scattered throughout the temple grounds. The atmosphere is truly magical! ❤️

🚍 The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes from central Osaka. Start by taking the Midosuji Line (Red Line) subway 🚇 to Minoh-Kayano Station. From there, follow the signs to the bus stop and hop on the shuttle bus 🚌 that goes directly to Katsuoji Temple. (You can check the shuttle bus schedule from Minoh-Kayano Station to Katsuoji Temple online.)

✨ Missed the bus? No worries! Minoh-Kayano Station is as big as a small shopping mall, so you can pass the time shopping or grabbing some snacks while you wait. 💸
