Hakone Shrine

Hakone Shrine is a must-visit spot when touring Hakone⛩️

Founded in the first year of Tenpyō-hōji (757) during the Nara period, it was established by the monk Mangan, who underwent rigorous training and received divine guidance from Hakone Ōkami.

The Peace Torii⛩️ is particularly famous, and its presence amidst the clear air felt incredibly sacred. Not only does it offer blessings, but its existence within such natural surroundings is truly awe-inspiring.
