Katsuo-ji Temple | A wonderful encounter with "Little Taiwan" in Japan

While strolling through Katsuo-ji Temple in Osaka, we stumbled upon a large field of red Daruma dolls arranged in the shape of Taiwan!
It was a truly surprising and touching moment, like finding home in a foreign land.

Katsuo-ji Temple is famous for its "Bishou Daruma," where people write their wishes and pray for success and safety.
These tiny Daruma dolls, arranged in the shape of Taiwan, are like the most adorable blessing of our journey:
May your wishes remain unshaken, your faith undying, and may everyone who comes here find their own "victory."

📍 Location: Katsuo-ji Temple (Minoh City, Osaka Prefecture)
🚗 Transportation: From Umeda, Osaka, take the Hankyu Railway to Minoh Station, then transfer to a bus for a 15-minute ascent.
🕊️ Tip: The mountain path can be windy and rocky, so remember to wear comfortable walking shoes!
