Kyoto's maple leaves are famous, making Osaka's autumn foliage seem a bit understated, but after experiencing it firsthand, I found Osaka's autumn leaves just as splendid. What's more rare is that it’s not as crowded as Kyoto. Here are 8 hidden spots for autumn leaves in Osaka, all worth visiting one by one~
🍁 Katsuo-ji Temple
A thousand-year-old temple hidden deep in the mountains, with autumn forests dyed in layers of color. The temple is famous for countless "Daruma dolls," blending simplicity with spiritual charm.
🚇 Transportation: Take the Osaka Metro to Senri-Chuo Station, then transfer to bus No. 29, about 30 minutes.
🍁 Minoo Park
Mountains covered in red leaves accompanied by a waterfall, an ideal place for hiking and enjoying autumn.
