[Hot springs & B-class gourmet] Misawa Airport is a great place to have some fun

Misawa Airport shares facilities with the Misawa Air Base of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force. It is a small airport, but there are restaurants inside where you can eat Misawa's specialty karaage (fried chicken) and Towada Barayaki, which has become the best B-class gourmet food in Japan.

The adjacent Misawa Airport Onsen is recommended as you can wash off your sweat for 400 yen. It is a very popular hot spring with many locals.

It is a good idea to return your rental car early and wash off your sweat at Misawa Airport Onsen or eat at a restaurant inside.
