šŸš— Nature & Hot Springs in Mishima: A Perfect Day Trip

#hellohalloween

We took a leisurely drive to Mishima and started our day with a stroll through Rakujuen Park. This city-run park offers much more than just greenery—there’s a small zoo, kids’ rides, and quiet walking paths that make it enjoyable for both families and solo visitors alike. It’s a great place to breathe deeply and enjoy a slower pace of life.

After the park, we headed to Takenokura Onsen Minakuchi-sou for a relaxing soak. This day-use hot spring is known for its unique reddish-brown water, rich in iron and slightly acidic. The scent of minerals hits you the moment you step in, and the cloudy water feels deeply warming. From the bath, you can gaze out over peaceful rice fields—it’s an authentic countryside onsen experience.
